Today

The tide of time flowing, I am one third to three quarters of the way through my life, another day brings forward thoughts of  tomorrow past as I search for the spirit, the soul, of all. Shadows, never ending stretch out, calling.

I do remember, one day, seeing all, as heaven revealed itself, filling me with awe.  Another reality touched my flesh for the briefest of moments, moments that contained the beauteous brightness of eternity. All of time and creation within a single instant.

Can you see beyond the door? The door beyond eternity?

The web of life

Shall we see another day, another sun, another moon, when heaven is ours?

Looking Forward

Sadness fills the eyes,Of the child in the photograph

As the eyes in the mirror watch,

With unblinking glazed regret.

Noting times that should have been.

Silent pools of remorse

Search into the night.

The beautiful night

Of secret hiding places

Noting times that could have been.

Escaping the red rage that spewed forth,

Unbridled brutal anger

Encompassing and engulfing all that came near.

Brutally blocking each step of the way;

Impeding all that should have been.

Sadness fills the eyes that look out,

Emptying sadness from inside my head,

Emptying all self-condemnation…

Growing towards what should have been.
